Australian military will be trained for battles with Russian "Armata"

In Australia, they made 3D targets depicting the Russian Armata tank. It is assumed that they will be used to train Australian tankers and grenade launchers.
Photos posted on social media show the frontal projection of various tanks and SPGs. Among them is the Russian T-14.
The annotation to the pictures says that earlier the company, which specializes in the production of targets, has already distinguished itself in the manufacture of a simulator of the Soviet anti-aircraft missile system "Kub" The target of the air defense missile system was used in the military exercises Chong Ju 2019.
Note that in 2018 the company produced three-dimensional robotic targets in the form of Russian T-80 tanks and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles. However, they made inaccuracies in the manufacture of the "tank".
The Australian T-80 only had a hull that resembled a real prototype. For example, on the tower the "Luna" illuminator was depicted on the left, and the "Contact" reactive armor elements were placed behind for some reason.

South Korean Five-Year Defense Development Plan

At the same time, total spending on procurement and R&D in five years should be 100.1 trillion won (85 billion dollars) and in the annual defense budget should increase from 16.7 trillion won (14 billion dollars) in 2020 to 23.6 trillion won. ($ 20 billion) in 2025. The number of personnel of the South Korean armed forces will be reduced from the current 555 thousand people to 500 thousand people by the end of 2022. In the ground forces, the directorates of two army corps and three infantry divisions will be disbanded, but the Air Force and Navy will be slightly increased. At the same time, the number of civilian personnel of the armed forces is planned to increase from the current 47 thousand people to 60 thousand people in 2025.
A significant increase in the number of cruise and ballistic missiles, the creation of a multilevel missile defense system, and the creation of a missile attack warning system are named among the priorities of the procurement policy. It is planned to create a long-range air defense system L-SAM, as well as a short-range missile defense system similar to the Israeli Iron Dome to protect Seoul from possible missile and artillery strikes.
For the ground forces, it is planned to purchase K2 tanks, K806 / K808 wheeled armored personnel carriers and new ALH light combat helicopters. It is planned to create a modernized 155-mm self-propelled howitzer K9A1 with an automatic loading system, corrected missiles for 230-mm MLRS, as well as new operational-tactical missiles, including those with penetrating warheads. A set of "digital" individual fighter equipment will be introduced.

Reserve: vintage air defense of Mongolia shown on video

An interesting video of the exercises of the 326th anti-aircraft missile division of the Mongolian army appeared on the Web. It is unlikely that so many Soviet military equipment can be seen anywhere else at once.
Despite the fact that the battalion is an anti-aircraft missile, there is mainly artillery in the frame. The only exceptions are the Strela-1 short-range air defense systems based on the BRDM-2 (two rarities in one). In the frame were the firing of a battery of 57-mm guns of the C-60 complex of the 1950 model, Dambiev writes.
Also presented are the Shilka anti-aircraft self-propelled guns with a quad 23-millimeter cannon (in Syria, this machine is successfully used for ground targets, earning the nickname "Infernal Thresher"), its clothed version - a twin towed ZSU-23-2 installation and a lot of other ancient equipment ... For example, the ZSU-23-2 is towed by the ZIL-131 trucks, already forgotten in the Russian army.

The tank army of the Western Military District in the Moscow Region has begun training for dynamic display at the Army 2020

TSAMTO, August 13. Servicemen of the ZVO Guards Tank Army at the Alabino training ground in the Moscow Region have begun practical training in the dynamic demonstration of the capabilities of weapons and military equipment in preparation for the Army 2020 IMTF.
When demonstrating the combat capabilities of military equipment, tank, motorized rifle and artillery subunits will work out the tasks of maneuvering defense.
ZVO tankers on T-80, T-80BVM, T-72B3 tanks, motorized riflemen on BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles and BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, artillerymen on Grad MLRS, Solntsepek MLRS will conduct live firing at a conditional enemy as part of the show combat capabilities of military equipment.
Earlier, units of the ZVO tank army made marches from 50 to 500 km in a combined way on military equipment, which will be shown in a training battle and at the exhibition sites, the press service of the district reports.

In the suburbs, tankers demonstrated underwater driving

The tankers moved with a dive to a depth of 5 m. According to the press service of the CJSC, the servicemen worked out actions in the event of a flooding of a combat vehicle, as well as oxygen starvation, damage from poisonous substances and an explosion wave.
“When passing through a water obstacle, the crews of T-80 tanks and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles are equipped with individual rescue equipment and isolating gas masks designed to evacuate the crew in case of an emergency situation, which allow a person to spend about 1 hour under water,” it is noted in the message.
Also, the BMP-2 crews worked out various methods of overcoming the vododrome, in particular, exercises on entering, exiting the water and driving afloat.
Earlier in late July, Argentine journalists from the Clarin newspaper  wondered how Russian T-72B3 tanks overcame a 5-meter-deep water barrier. They called the tank "an unprecedented lethal weapon," comparing it to a submarine.
